The launch of TH!NK2 is key to the rest of the competition, and that's why it's mandatory that every TH!NKer come to Copenhagen. Meeting the other participants, learning about the issues and getting a little tech training makes sure everyone is on the same page once the competition begins - and that's vital to having a successful group.

Once selected, all 81 official participants will travel to Copenhagen, Denmark for a two-day launch event, all expenses paid for by the EJC with the help of the European Commission. Denmark is famous for its environmentally friendly initiatives and is also the host country of the International Climate Summit.

The launch event will be a combination of seminars and workshops on the first day, with a visit to eco-sites around the country on the second day. Participants will also receive a FLIP camera and training on how to use the blogging tool at the launch event.
